As an expert witness orthopaedic surgeon, he has contributed expert reviews, IMEs, CMEs, depositions, and testimony in hundreds of legal proceedings. Dr. Omar David Hussamy is an actively practicing, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon based in South Florida, with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He is fellowship-trained in sports medicine, total joint replacement and hand surgery. Dr. Hussamy provides comprehensive orthopaedic care, including total joint replacement, arthroscopic procedures, upper extremity surgery, foot and ankle surgery and fracture care.
Dr. Hussamy maintains a full-time clinical practice, allowing for timely evaluation and treatment. He is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
In addition to his ongoing surgical and clinical work, Dr. Hussamy serves as an expert witness in medicolegal matters, bringing active, hands-on orthopaedic experience to case review, deposition, and trial testimony.
