Omar D. Hussamy, MD
Omar David Hussamy, MD, PA, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who provides exceptional care for people of all ages at his private practice in Vero Beach, Florida. With over 25 years of experience, he’s the only orthopedic surgeon in South Florida with fellowship training in sports and hand procedures.
Donatas Dudutis, Physician Assistant
Donatas Dudutis is Dr. Hussamy’s Physician Assistant and a Certified Surgical Technologist with five years of experience in orthopedic (sports and joint reconstruction), orthopedic spine, vascular, general (open, laparoscopic), OBGYN (open, laparoscopic), ENT, ophthalmic, plastic, urology procedures.
He received his Master of Science Physician Assistant (MSPA) from Quinnipiac University, North Haven, CT.
Joe Justado, Physical Therapist
Joe Justado earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College in 1991. He approaches physical therapy with communication and compassion, focusing on treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. Joe believes that the human body can repair itself in the right environment, so he’s always learning about new advancements in the field. Joe is a certified Kinesio taping practitioner (CKTP), as well as a strength and conditioning specialist (SCS with IWA).
Barbara Scharfschwerdt-Bodner, Physical Therapist Assistant
Lifelong Indian River County resident, Barbara received her A.S. in physical therapy from Chattanooga State University in Tennessee. After graduating in 1981, she returned to Vero Beach, where she specializes in orthopedic and sports medicine. Barbara is a member of American Physical Therapy Association, and she played a role in the sports medicine team that treated Vero Beach Senior High School athletes. She has worked with Dr. Hussamy for over 25 years. She enjoys seeing doctors and physical therapists come together to treat patients.
Reverend Michael Pant, Physical Therapist Assistant
Rev. Michael Pant has dedicated his adult life to service. He served in the Navy as a chef for almost 10 years. After his time in the military, Michael worked as a private chef, house manager, personal assistant, and valet in Florida. After leaving the Service, Michael went back to school for physical therapy. He graduated from South University, West Palm Beach, with an Associate Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Michael motivates his clients with compassion. He believes that empathy helps them achieve their best.
