OMAR D. HUSSAMY, M.D.
Dr. Hussamy is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and was elected as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons in
1998. Dr. Hussamy received his medical training at St. Andrews University, Scotland and completed the prestigious M.B., B. Chir.
Medical degree at Cambridge University, England. He received his doctor of medicine degree at the University of
Virginia.
Dr. Hussamy completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of North Carolina. In 1993 he completed a fellowship
in sports medicine and hand surgery under the guidance of Frank C. McCue, III, M.D. at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Hussamy has been in private practice in Vero Beach, Florida since 1994. He welcomes new patients and referrals from other
physicians. In his practice he routinely performs arthroscopy, sports medicine, rotator cuff surgery, hand surgery, foot and
ankle surgery in addition to total hip and knee replacements.
